No. What you record and what the app creates stay on your device. The app has no server and makes no network requests of its own. See the Privacy Policy for details.
No. If you grant access to selected photos only, the app builds the video from just those photos. To share more later, use "Share more photos" in the app to change your selection.
If you grant no photo access at all, the app still builds a video from what you shot inside the app.
Check the following:
A notification arrives only on days when you shot something and haven't yet made a video. On days with no material, none is sent.
You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings. Even without them, you can create a video from the app's list whenever you like.
From the video screen, "Save" puts it in your Photos library and "Share" opens the system share sheet. Creating a video does not by itself add it to Photos.
Everything the app stored — created videos and your edits — is deleted with it. Anything you saved to your Photos library remains.
No. There are no in-app purchases and no advertising, and created videos carry no watermark.
