These terms govern your use of Vlog Camera (the "App"), an iPhone app provided by Appelier ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these terms.
The App is a camera that records video and turns what you shot during a day into one short video. Recording, storage, and creation all happen entirely on your device. We operate no servers and never receive anything you record or create.
See the Privacy Policy for details.
You own all rights to the video, photos, and audio you record, and to the videos the App creates from them. We claim no rights over this content and do not view, copy, use, or share it with anyone. As a technical matter, it never reaches us.
Other people may appear in what you record. If you share such recordings — showing them to others, posting them to social media, or otherwise publishing them — you are responsible for doing so lawfully. Rights of publicity, privacy, and restrictions on recording in particular places vary by country and situation, and it is your responsibility to comply with the law where you are.
You may not use the App to:
The App is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising. Videos the App creates carry no watermark.
No account is required. The App has no mechanism for identifying who you are.
We do not warrant that:
We provide no compensation for data lost from your device. For recordings that matter to you, consider saving them to your Photos library or keeping a separate copy.
We are not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, except in cases of our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
The App is provided free of charge and we receive no payment from you. Taking this into account, where we are liable, that liability is limited to ordinary direct damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those places, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
We may change the App, suspend it, or stop distributing it without prior notice. If distribution ends, an App already installed on your device — and the data stored within it — remains on your device.
We may revise these terms as needed. When we do, we will update this page and change the revision date at the top. Continuing to use the App after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
The App does not notify you of revisions. Please check this page for the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the App shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our place of business as the court of first instance.
