Vlog Camera collects nothing about you.
The video, photos, and audio you record, the videos the App creates, and any record of what you did in the App stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. Appelier ("we", "us") does not receive them and cannot see them.
We operate no servers that hold anything about you, and the App never sends what you record to us. Network requests happen in only three places. Two are between your own device and Apple: fetching material from iCloud Photos, and looking up a place name. The third happens only when you tap through to our terms, this policy, or the help page. Below we set out what stays on your device, and the few exceptions worth knowing about.

None of this leaves your device. We know neither that it exists nor what it contains.
To assemble a day into one video, the App reads your Photos library.
What it reads is processed entirely on your device and is never sent anywhere. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings. You may also grant access to selected photos only, in which case the App builds the video from just those photos.
If you use iCloud Photos, some material may live in iCloud rather than on your device. To use it, the App fetches it, which means network traffic occurs between your device and Apple's services.
This exchange takes place entirely within your own Apple account. We are not involved and receive nothing. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Each finished video is named after a place, such as "Kamakura". To find that name, the App passes one approximate coordinate for wherever you stayed longest that day to your device's mapping service (Apple).
Opening the Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, or the help page from the App's "About this app" screen fetches that page from the web, and only then.
The App may send you at most one notification a day, letting you know there is material to make a video from.
This notification is composed entirely on your device and does not pass through any external service. We do not know whether one was sent or opened. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings; without them you can still create a video from the App's home whenever you like.

Apple aggregates these so that individuals cannot be identified. We cannot learn who you are or what you recorded. Apple determines the scope and method; you can stop sharing this with Apple in your device's analytics settings.

The App does not track you and has no mechanism for following you across other apps or websites.
Because we hold nothing about you, there is no need to ask us to delete anything. There are no accounts, so there is no account deletion process.
The App is not directed at any particular age group and is not designed for children. Because it collects nothing, no information about any user — of any age — reaches us.
If we change this policy we will update this page and change the revision date at the top. If a change would mean collecting something, we will revise this page before releasing the version that makes that change.
